Students from the International Space University learn about CERTO's work onboard Lisboat
CERTO uses TriOS radiometers onboard the Lisboat ferry to take water quality measurements to validate data obtained from satellites. As part of the Space Studies University 2022 summer school training was provided to a group of over 20 MSc, PhD and post-doctoral students onboard an exclusive trip on the Lisboat ferry.
The training consisted of presentations from CERTO scientists Prof Vanda Brotas and Prof Steve Groom and demonstrations of CERTO sampling work. They received specialist practical training in water quality measurement, including the use of the TriOS radiometers.
